Today, I’d like to introduce a delicious recipe for a sweet and creamy corn soup. It is easy to make and the ingredients are available at Big C Super Center. This is a dish for those who’ve been staying at home for a long time and are starting to lose their appetite. This easy dish can be served as a simple breakfast to brighten your day.

Ingredients

  1. Corn kernels from 2 – 3 corn cobs
  2. 1 onion
  3. 3 tablespoons of butter
  4. 1 cup of fresh milk
  5. 1 cup of cream
  6. 1 cup of soup stock
  7. 2 tablespoons of starch
  8. 11. Salt
  9. Pepper
  10. 2. Sugar
  11. Bay leaf

Method

  1. Melt butter in a pot over low heat and add the chopped onion. Cook until the onion is soft and add most of the corn. Cook until the corn is well cooked.
  2. Add corn starch, cream and soup stock, then season the soup with salt, pepper, sugar and bay leaf.
  3. Simmer the soup over low heat until all the ingredients are soft and mixed together.
  4. Add milk and the rest of the corn. Heat the soup until the corn is well cooked, then turn off the heat. The soup is now ready to serve.
